Disafilliation

We refuse to work for a university that does not work for us.

The UR Black Student Coalition encourages all faculty, staff, students, and alumni who are in solidarity with the demands to disaffiliate from any University task forces, student organizations, and fundraising by ceasing all uncompensated, extracurricular, public-facing work and programming (public programming being defined as any meeting, activity, or event open to students, faculty, or staff) which UR is in turn able to publicize and profit off of.

We encourage your disaffiliation be made public.

If you would like to release a statement surrounding you or your group’s disaffiliation, please feel free to use the templates provided at the link below.

In addition, once you have submitted your letter(s) to the relevant party (or parties),

please let the UR community know what you have disaffiliated from by filling out the appropriate form.

We also invite you to submit your letters to us for archival purposes and to be viewed by other members of the UR community now or in the future. If you would like to submit your letter, please upload it here or email it as a PDF to protectourweb@gmail.com.
